For the tenth consecutive year, the dental industry recorded positive results
Already for 10 years, the dental segment is stands out for being the only one presenting surplus in the Brazilian trade balance. In 2011, the positive balance was approximately US$ 7 million.
Brazil has currently 101 manufacturers of dental products and equipment; exporting to 180 countries, which represents an average of US$ 87 million for the industry; the country imports US$ 80 million; and in 2010 it invested about US$24 million (R$ 41 million) in innovation for the sector. "The Brazilian dentistry is a reference, with a large global market.
