Chain of Laboratories of Clinical Analysis announces
200% growth in sales
 For the second year in a row, the BIOFAST Group, a chain of laboratories of clinical analysis in São Paulo, presents significant growth in their main performance indicators. The company registered a 200% growth in sales and a 133% growth in the number of tests processed in 2009, in comparison with the previous year.
The pace of growth has been kept with investments of approximately US$ 4.5 million throughout 2009. The main investments were made in the modernization of the technical area and the expansion of the package of services to the clients by means of developing management tools.
Another part of the resources was directed to implementing customized outpatient structures in the new clients, adaptations in the new Technical Center and actions in the human resources field.
Projections for 2010 must follow the same indicators of the last few years. The BIOFAST Group foresees a 150% growth in sales and a 110% increase in the number of tests processed, which means it will reach the number of 1.5 million exams/month. |
