Hospital viValle invests in new equipment
Hospital viValle, located in the countryside of São Paulo, seeks new technological solutions to ensure total safety and the best healthcare treatment for their patients. Their most recent acquisition was a high technology generator with enough power to meet the hospital’s demand for 10 uninterrupted hours. With investments of US$ 260 thousand, the new generator will now be the main one, and the one that already existed will be now exclusive for the ICU and the Surgical Center.
In addition to the new generator, other enhancements are already available, such as in the Surgical Center, which now features no-breaks, guaranteeing four hours of autonomy, besides special permanent materials: harmonic scalpel; specific neurosurgical equipment such as a Maquet’s complete neurosurgical table, microscopes, pneumatic drills, craniotomy and anesthetic equipment.
The viValle will invest US$ 28.5 million in the seven phases of the Master Plan that is under implementation. When completed, it will increase the built area from 4,500 sqm to 14,200 sqm, employ 380 other employees and have additional 111 hospital beds, adding up to a total of 160. Besides, with the conclusion of the building works, the viValle Hospital will have a Diagnostic Imaging Center, a new space for the Institute for Education and Research (IEP viValle) and will expand the Surgical Center and the ICU. In 2010, the hospital intends to invest even more in new equipment. |
