Program mobilizes entrepreneurs and
society for the construction of a hospital
The plastic artist Bia Dória, the medical doctor Waleska Santos, President
of Hospitalar Fair and Forum, and the architect Lauro Miquelin, Development Manager
in L + M GETS, presented to the health market the Program Building Health.
The program is a set of actions seeking the improvement of non-profit health organizations, such as hospitals linked to foundations, social organizations, community associations and others.
The first action of the Program Building Health will be developed in Pinhalzinho,
a town in the state of Santa Catarina that is a reference in service for a total
of 70 thousand inhabitants from 5 near towns.
After a detailed analysis of the hospital conditions, L+M Gets made a project for a new hospital with 40 beds (plus 10 ICU beds), built according to the most advanced technical standards, with optimization of services and rationalization of costs. But the major difference of this project is the Management proposal for the new hospital, so that it may be economically sustainable, generating enough revenue to make it feasible to keep its operation, maintenance and future expansion.
Mobilizing the society
The action plan for the new hospital of Pinhalzinho will be a L+M Gets donation and will work as a tool for mobilizing the local community, the civil society, entrepreneurs and the government and guide the collection of resources necessary to implement and finance the new hospital.
The collection of resources for the construction and equipment is meant to be carried out through a strong mobilization of companies, organizations and public power, organized by Bia Dória and the medical doctor Waleska Santos.
The launch of the Program Building Health was held during Hospitalar and counted on the presence of the Minister of Health, José Gomes Temporão. |
