US$ 10 million in business deals in the USA

Represented by 38 companies, Brazil had a positive participation in Florida International Medical Expo (FIME), in the United States. The companies’ results added up to US$ 970,000 in closed deals and other US$ 10 million in deals were prospected for the next 12 months.

The numbers correspond to an average increase of 26% in comparison to the sales registered in FIME’s last year’s edition. This was the 6th time that Brazilian companies participated in the event. The target markets were countries from Latin America and the Caribbean. “In spite of the current world economic scenario, we achieved this excellent result, which demonstrates the high level of maturity, competence and commitment of the Brazilian industry with the international market”, considered Hely Maestrello, the executive director of ABIMO – Brazilian Association of the Medical-Dental Industry.
