Dr. Juljan Czapski as Person of the Year in Healthcare
In the evening of June 11th, HOSPITALAR and partner entities hosted a dinner to gather the main Brazilian healthcare leaders, international personalities and special guests.
 The event, besides celebrating the 15 years of HOSPITALAR, was full of homage and award presentations, such as HOSPITALAR 2008 – Person of the Year in Healthcare for Dr. Juljan Czapski. Physician, public health specialist, starter of health insurance in Brazil and consultant for governments, companies and healthcare planning and strategy organizations, Dr. Juljan is noticeable for all the service he has rendered for over 50 years dedicated to the healthcare sector.
Established in 2005, the award represents the consensus of the healthcare entities and highlights the Professional that, by innovative and wide-ranging actions, has provided a significant contribution to the medicine development, the medical-hospital attendance and the quality of life of the Brazilian and worldwide population.
The founder and President of HOSPITALAR, Dr. Waleska Santos, presented the award and highlighted: “Dr. Juljan has inspired all of us to place our bets in a scientific area within HOSPITALAR, which nowadays has also become a great healthcare forum. Through his entrepreneurship, he has always been my guru and advisor in the health area. For this reason, HOSPITALAR and all the entities that support us offer this award, tonight, to Dr. Juljan Czapski”.
The honored Dr. Juljan Czapski appreciated the award and pointed out that he had never expected a homage like this. “For me, it’s a tremendous honor. My motto has always been to work and offer good health services to the population. I thank you all who have paid this homage to me tonight.”
