HOSPITALAR and CNS promote IHF Rio 2009 and
invite the President of Brazil and the Minister of Health

Dr. Waleska Santos, president of Hospitalar; José Gomes Temporão, Minister of Health of Brazil; Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, President of Brazil; and Dr. José Carlos Abrahão, President of the Brazilian Health Confederation

The president of HOSPITALAR, Dr. Waleska Santos, and the President of the Brazilian Health Confederation (CNS), Dr. José Carlos Abrahão, officially invited the Minister of Health, José Gomes Temporão, to be the Honorary President of the 36th World Hospital Congress – IHF Rio 2009; and the President Lula to be the patron of the event.

The 36th World Hospital Congress will be held from November 10th to 12th, 2009, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It will convene more than 1,000 participants (60% foreigners) including hospitals and healthcare services administrators, medical doctors, sector leaders and professionals of the area.

Carried out in partnership among IHF (International Hospital Federation), Brazilian Health Confederation (CNS) and Hospitalar Fair + Forum, the event aims at stimulating cooperation and exchange of experiences among healthcare managers and the improvement of healthcare management in all levels.
